Sixteen Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) on Monday called on the government to step up efforts to protect the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer (LGBTIQ) people in Cambodia, in line with the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) recommendations accepted by the Kingdom.
